Drives to stabilize commodity prices in Bhola

MA Mannan, Bhola: The administration has launched an operation to stabilize the prices of commodities in Bhola. Raids were conducted at various points in the city from 11 am. Sadar Upazila UNO Tauhidul Islam conducted the operation.

On Tuesday (March 27), Additional SP of Sadar Circle Ripon Chandra Sarkar, Upazila Vice Chairman Alhaj Mo Yunus Mia, Consumer Rights Protection Officer Mahmudul Hasan, Agricultural Marketing Officer Mustafa Sohel and other district level officials were present. In the campaign, instructions were given to control the price of goods during the month of Ramadan.
In this regards, UNO said the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 will be enforced against those found violating the rules. The operation will continue in the future as well, said this official.
