Bangladesh reached the Bhutanese capital Thimphu on Friday to play two FIFA international football matches against the home side on 5 and 8 September.

Before leaving Dhaka, Bangladesh head coach Javier Cabrera confirmed a full 23-member team of the men in red and green on Thursday. Cabrera included four defenders – Topu Barman, Bishwanath Ghosh, Saad Uddin, Shakil Ahad Topu; five midfielders – Sohel Rana, Mirajul Islam, Md Sohel Rana, Mojibur Rahman Jony, Chandan Roy and four forwards Rakib Hossain, Shekh Morsalin, Faysal Ahmed Fahim, Rabby Hossain Rahul in the new squad.

However, the 39-year-old Spainrad excluded three midfielders Jayed Ahmed, Didarul Alam, Syed Quazem Shah and forward Arman Foysal Akash from the previously announced partial 14-member squad.

The final 23-member squad: goalkeepers -- Mitul Marma, Sujon Hossain, Pappu Hossain; defenders – Topu Barman, Bishwanath Ghosh, Saad Uddin, Shakil Ahad Topu, Shakil Hossain, Rahmat Mia, Isa Faysal, Mehedi Hasan; midfielders – Sohel Rana, Md Ridoy, Mirajul Islam, Md Sohel Rana, Mojibur Rahman Jony, Chandan Roy, Jamal Bhuyan; forwards – Rakib Hossain, Shekh Morsalin, Faysal Ahmed Fahim, Rabby Hossain Rahul, Shahriar Emon.
