Online Report : At least 82 people have been killed across Gaza since early Thursday morning in Israeli airstrikes, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
The deadly attacks come amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations and growing international criticism over Israel’s plan to forcibly relocate Palestinians in Rafah.
According to Al Jazeera, 15 of the victims were killed in Deir al-Balah while standing in line to receive nutritional aid for children when an Israeli airstrike struck the area. Among the dead were nine children and four women.
UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell strongly condemned the attack, calling it "inhumane" to target families seeking humanitarian assistance.
“This is the grim reality for many in Gaza today,” she said. “Where sufficient aid has been denied for months and warring parties continue to fail in their fundamental duty to protect civilians.”
The situation in Gaza remains dire, with humanitarian agencies warning of worsening conditions and the urgent need for unimpeded access to aid.
