Md. Mizanur Rahman Akanda, Phulpur: A discussion meeting of the new committee of the Upazila Sports Association was held in Phulpur, Mymensingh. The meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad Conference Room at 10 am on Thursday. The meeting was presided over by Phulpur Upazila Executive Officer and Upazila Sports Association President Sadia Islam Seema.
New Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tasneem Jahan, Upazila Youth Development Officer and Upazila Sports Association Member Secretary Anisur Rahman, Upazila BNP Convener Alhaj Siddiqur Rahman, Member Secretary Helal Uddin, Social Service Officer Shihab Uddin Khan, Agricultural Extension Officer Kamrul Hasan Kamu, Sports Association Member Journalists Khalilur Rahman, Nazrul Islam, Mazharul Islam Sohel, Samad Khan Naeem and others were present at the meeting.
Various issues related to sports including improving the quality of sports, participation in competitions, necessary training, proper planning, construction of swimming pools and other issues were discussed in the meeting.
