1230th RSSP literary meeting held in Rangpur

(BSS) - The 1230th literary meeting of Rangpur Sahitya-Sangskriti Parishad (RSSP) was held Friday night at its Town Hall office with the theme "Life Illuminated by the Purity of Literature," said a press release.

RSSP President Akhter presided over the event, attended by writers, poets, and civil society members.

Prof. Mohammad Shah Alam shared his literary journey, while Tapas Mahmud presented an article titled "Kuashay Jochna Jhore, Kabitay Jiban O Pratyayer Sur". . Poems were recited by Khandaker Mahfuzar Rahman, Helen Ara Sydney, Sarkar Bablu, Anindya Awal, and others.

Poems dedicated to Prof. Shah Alam were read by Afzal Hossain and Tapas Kumar Roy. Mehedi Masud recited his poems.

General Secretary Mamun Ur Rashid called for strengthening RSSP activities.

Dr. Mofizul Islam Maantu, Advocate Masum Hasan, Shattik Shah Al Maruf, and Nargis Akhter Banu Jharna discussed Shah Alam`s literary contributions.
