Foreign Minister Momen tests COVID-19 positive

Online Report : Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has tested positive for novel coronavirus.

His sample was collected as part of regular test ahead of Nigeria tour which came positive on Tuesday night.

But no symptom of the virus was found in him, the Ministry confirmed the matter on Wednesday.

Abdul Momen has cancelled his Niger tour for joining OIC`s 47th council. His is now taking treatment at home isolation as per his physician`s advise.

Earlier, the foreign secretary Masud Bin Momen has also tested positive for coronavirus.
