kamrul hasan: Dr. Khondakar Akbar Hossain Bablu, eldest son of the late BNP Secretary General Advocate Khondakar Delwar Hossain and former Vice-President of Manikganj District BNP, has said that the BNP remains the only party capable of fulfilling the long-cherished dreams of the people.
He noted that it was the foresight and strong leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman that compelled ‘Fascist Hasina’ to leave the country on August 5, following the mass movement led by BNP, students, and the public, freeing the nation from autocratic rule.
Dr. Bablu made these remarks on Friday afternoon in Bachamara, Daulatpur, Manikganj, after paying respects at the grave of the recently deceased former president of the Bachamara Union Chhatra Dal, Mosharaf Hossain. Addressing party workers, supporters, and local residents, he said, “The BNP’s leadership has ensured the success of the long struggle to protect freedom and democracy. Tarique Rahman continues to work tirelessly to restore democracy and safeguard the rights of citizens. He is the symbol of hope for the nation’s development and the fulfillment of the people’s aspirations.”
He added, “The people are now eager to contribute to nation-building with confidence in the BNP. To realize the expectations of the masses, the BNP must come to power.”
Dr. Bablu also warned that despite the interim government announcing elections in the first half of February, certain anti-freedom factions are attempting to disrupt the process. “Such forces are never beneficial for the country or the people. Elections remain the only solution in this critical situation,” he stressed.
Emphasizing organizational strength, he urged party workers to play a leading role in implementing the 31-point state reform program announced by Tarique Rahman to ensure victory for the BNP’s Dhanshish (Paddy Sheaf) symbol in all constituencies of Manikganj.
He concluded by praying for the speedy recovery of party leader Begum Khaleda Zia, the good health and longevity of Tarique Rahman, and for the eternal peace of the late Mosharaf Hossain. Leaders of the BNP and its allied organizations were present at the event.
