Fire at garment factory in Kamlapur brought under control

Online Desk : A fire that broke out at a garment factory in the capital’s Kamlapur has been brought under control.

The reason behind fire could not be known immediately.

On information, ten units of fire service rushed to spot and brought the fire under control for around one-and-half hours.

Ershad Hossen, Officer of the Fire Service Headquarters, said the fire originated on the sixth floor of Oli garment factory near Kamlapur’s BRTC bus terminal around 7:40am. The fire was brought under control at 9am.
