  Voting ends in DUCSU elections

The voting in the long-awaited Dhaka University Central Students` Union (DUCSU) and hall unions elections has ended amid festive atmosphere.

The voting opened at 8:00am at 810 booths in eight centres of the university and ended at 4:00pm on Tuesday, September 9, without any break.

A total of 471 candidates are contesting for 28 positions in the DUCSU elections, while 1,035 aspirants are competing in the hall unions polls.
