The Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Khalilur Rahman, met with Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, where both sides emphasized the importance of sustained diplomacy and constructive engagement among all concerned parties to de-escalate tensions and restore regional stability.
During the meeting, Minister Rahman conveyed the sincere gratitude of Bangladeshi Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to His Majesty Haitham bin Tarik for his significant role in supporting efforts to bring the crisis to a peaceful and early conclusion.

In response, the Omani Foreign Minister praised the Bangladeshi community for their dedication and positive role in the country’s daily life and progress.
Both sides further reviewed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food and agriculture, and port logistics, with a shared interest in expanding trade and investment ties.
