Conspiracy Will Be Allowed to Obstruct the Country’s Development Journey: Murad

Kamrul Hasan : Calling for a united public stance against conspiracies, propaganda, and attempts to create political instability, Yasin Ferdous Murad, Vice President of the Jubo Dal Central Committee and President of the Dhaka District Jubo Dal, said that no conspiracy would be allowed to derail the country`s development and progress.

He alleged that a vested group has been continuously engaged in conspiracies aimed at disrupting the nation`s advancement. "With the support of the people, these anti-state forces will be resisted, and the country`s development momentum will continue uninterrupted," he said.

Murad made the remarks as the chief guest at a rally held after a protest procession against "propaganda and unethical political practices," organized by the Manikganj District Jubo Dal at the Manikganj Bus Stand on Saturday (June 27).

Addressing the gathering, Murad said activists inspired by the ideals of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman have never bowed to injustice and never will. He claimed that after a prolonged political struggle, the country has entered a new phase of possibilities under the leadership of Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.
He said the government has been implementing various development initiatives aimed at ensuring public welfare, good governance, economic progress, and overall national development.

Highlighting development activities, Murad said efforts are underway to increase agricultural production, expand education and healthcare services, ensure food, clothing and housing, improve infrastructure, extend irrigation facilities, and undertake canal re-excavation projects. According to him, these initiatives are intended to achieve sustainable development and improve the living standards of ordinary people.
"However," he added, "a certain group is spreading misinformation, propaganda, and conspiracies to hinder this development process."
Murad urged people from all walks of life to remain united for the greater interest of the country.

"Those who seek to disrupt public peace and create political instability must be resisted through collective social and political action. National unity is the strongest response to any conspiracy," he said.

He further alleged that forces opposed to the spirit of independence have never worked for the country`s welfare. Therefore, he called upon citizens to remain vigilant against rumors, propaganda, and conspiratorial activities while contributing to the protection of democratic continuity and national development.

Referring to local development, Murad said that just as people across the country have confidence in Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, the people of Manikganj also have faith in the leadership of Afrooza Khanam Rita, MP, Convener of the Manikganj District BNP and Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism. He stressed that everyone must work together to fulfill the aspirations of the people.

During the rally, Murad offered prayers for the departed souls of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, renowned sports organizer Arafat Rahman Koko, late BNP Secretary General Advocate Khandaker Delwar Hossain, former Minister Harunar Rashid Khan Monnoo, MP, and Huron Nahar Rashid.

He also prayed for the good health and long life of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Afrooza Khanam Rita, MP, while seeking blessings for the continued welfare and prosperity of the nation.

The meeting was presided over by Kazi Mostak Hossain Dipu, Convener of the District Jubo Dal, and moderated by Member Secretary Tuhinur Rahman Tuhin.

The keynote address was delivered by Abul Monsur Khan Dipok, Joint General Secretary of the Jubo Dal Central Committee, while Sajedul Islam, another Joint General Secretary of the organization, spoke as a special guest.

Among others present were Senior Joint Convener Ziauddin Ahmed Kabir, Md. Masud Parvez, Advocate Mahbubul Alam Ujjal, Advocate Sayedur Rahman, and leaders of the Jubo Dal from the central, district, and upazila levels.

Earlier, a colorful protest procession marched through the main streets of Manikganj town, drawing the participation of thousands of party leaders and activists.

The speakers emphasized that a united stand against propaganda and conspiracies is essential to safeguarding political stability, protecting public interests, and maintaining the country`s development momentum. They also underscored the importance of strengthening democratic values, social harmony, and development-oriented politics for the welfare of the nation.
