  The 7th edition of Ispahani Mirzapur Banglabid has begun

Moin Mahmood: The country`s biggest TV reality show `Ispahani Mirzapur Banglabid` has started for the seventh time to inspire the new generation to practice Bengali language and culture. Keeping in mind the slogan "Bangla is full of Bengali", the country`s popular tea brand `Ispahani Mirzapur` has been organizing this competition since 2017 with the determination to further expand the practice of pure Bengali among the new generation.

This year, `Ispahani Mirzapur Banglabid` is going to be organized in a more attractive way. Students from classes 6 to 10 will participate in this competition. Students selected through auditions in eight divisional cities and Comilla will compete in the studio round. This competition of 21 episodes will be broadcast on Channel i.
The jury will include Dhaka University`s Bangla Department Professor and Linguist Tariq Manjur, eminent novelist Anisul Haque and eminent media personality Tropa Majumdar.

Registration for the seventh year has started from Saturday (June 27), which will continue till July 30, 2026. The first, second and third place winners in the final competition will receive merit scholarships of Tk 10 lakh, Tk 3 lakh and Tk 2 lakh respectively. The first ten contestants will receive laptops, books and bookcases.
Ispahani Group Directors Zahida Ispahani and Mirza Ahmed Ispahani were present at the press conference organized on the occasion. Former Director General of Bangla Academy Mansur Musa was the chief guest. Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar and Ispahani Tea Limited General Manager Omar Hannan were also present.
