During the visit, they paid a courtesy call on senior officials of Military Collegiate School Faridpur, including the Secretary of the institution and representatives of the 55 Infantry Division. Colonel Admin was also present.

During their inspection of the school, Nasrin Jahan and Dr. Shah Md. Helal Uddin received a salute from the cadets and toured different areas of the campus. Later, they signed the visitors’ book. On behalf of Military Collegiate School Faridpur, the visiting officials were presented with commemorative mementos in recognition of their visit.

It may be mentioned that, alongside safeguarding the country’s peace, security and sovereignty, the Bangladesh Army has, since its inception, played an important role in the development of the country’s education system and human resources by operating quality educational institutions. It has also made significant contributions to producing educated, skilled, disciplined and patriotic citizens.

As part of this continued commitment, Military Collegiate School Faridpur (MCSF) has been established following the model of Military Collegiate School Khulna (MCSK), with the aim of nurturing ideal citizens equipped with knowledge, discipline, patriotism, leadership qualities and human values.

Earlier on the same day, Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, SBP, OSP, SGP, psc, formally inaugurated Military Collegiate School Faridpur (MCSF) and Sena Public School and College Rajbari (SPSCR) at separate ceremonies.

The visit of the senior Planning Commission officials was seen as an important gesture of support and appreciation for the institution’s efforts to provide quality education and develop future leaders of the country.
