Memorandum for demanding state recognition of National Media Week

Sabrin Zerin, Madaripur: The Madaripur district and upazila branch of the Bangladesh Mofsbol Journalists Forum (BMSF) has issued a memorandum to the Hon`ble Prime Minister through the Deputy Commissioner and UNO demanding state recognition to National Media Week (May 1-6) as part of a central program in Madaripur districts and upazilas across the country.

A memorandum was handed over to Madaripur Deputy Commissioner Dr Rahima Khatun and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Saifuddin Gias at 10:30 am on Monday, April 12 in the short council, keeping the social distance due to increased corona infection. Bangladesh Mofsbol Journalists Forum (BMSF) was present at the time. Sabrin Zerin, co-organizing secretary of the central committee and Gauch-ur-Rahman, education secretary, SM Arafat Hasan, general secretary of MadaripurMaitriMediaCenter, Abdullah Al Mamun, Arifur Rahman, Nazmul Moral, Bidhan Majumder and others also present at this moment. After handing over the memorandum, Gaum-ur-Rahman, Education Secretary, Central Committee, BMSF, said that state recognition of National Media Week is a matter of life and death. On behalf of the organization, I humbly request the Hon`ble Prime Minister to accept this demand.
