Two motorcyclists killed in Cumilla road crash

Online Desk : Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Laksham upazila of Cumilla district on Saturday night.

The deceased were Shanto Singh Shaon, 25, son of late Zahurlal, and Chayan Singh, 24, son of Shukradhan Singh, residents of Alishwar village in the upazila.

Quoting locals, Laksham Highway Police Outpost sub-inspector Faruk Hossain said a motorcycle hit hard a safety pole at Bhaishakopalia intersection around 9 pm on Cumilla-Noakhali road as its rider lost control over it, leaving two dead on the spot.
