Abu Sayem, Cox`s Bazar: Cox`s Bazar North Forest Division arrests 1 along with 3 dumpers full of hill soil and sand. CityRange Officer and Special Team OC Md. Moniruzzaman Sumon led the operation on Wednesday. Phansiyakhali Range Officer Md. Mehraj Uddin and Phulchhari Range Officer Md. Humayun Ahmed carried out raids and arrested 1 accused 1 along with 3 dumpers full of hill soil and sand.

Special Team OC and City Range Officer Md. Moniruzzaman Sumon said that regular operations are being conducted against mountain soil and sand smuggling. Forest Division seized three dumpers carrying illegal hill soil and sand near PhulchhariRange. When the officials of the Forest Division during a routine check at Cox`s Bazar carried out a thorough investigation and seized the three hill soil and sand carrying dumpers.  

Md. Anwar Hossain Sarkar, Divisional Forest Officer of Cox`s Bazar North Forest Division said that the Forest Department is vigilant and alert to protect the forest resources. Regular operation of the forest department is going on to prevent the illegal smuggling of hill soil, sand, and wood. He called upon the forest department to provide information and help to protect government resources.
