AKM Bazlur Rahman, Panchagarh: A tree planting and distribution program has been held in Panchagarh on the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman`s centenary birth anniversary and Mujib Year. On Tuesday (July 28) at noon, Dhakkamara Union Awami League organized a tree planting at the premises of Bir Muktijoddha Sirajul Islam Railway Station and Dhakkamara Union Ward.

Various fruit and forest trees were distributed among the leaders and workers of Awami League. Among others, District Awami League Secretary for Agriculture and Heroic Freedom Fighter Jaker Hossain, President of Dhakkamara Union No. 8 Rabiul Islam Robi, General Secretary Tariqul Islam, former President of Dhakkamara Union Awami League Nurul Islam and other ward Awami League leaders and workers were present. Mazaharul Haque, MP from Panchagarh 1 constituency, planted trees and distributed more than 15 hundred trees in different varieties of fruits and forests in the hands of Awami League leaders and activists of Dhakkamara Union ward.
