DUJ mourns the death of journalist Fazlun Nazima Khanam

Press Release: DUJ President Quader Gani Chowdhury and General Secretary Md. Fazluun Nazima Khanam, a senior member of the National Press Club and Dhaka Journalists Union-DUJ and former sub-editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, have expressed deep grief over his death. Shahidul Islam. They expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members. Note that Fazlun Nazima Khanam passed away at her home in Dakarkhali village of Harirampur police station of Manikganj at 4.55 am on Tuesday (Innalillahi ..... Rajyun). He was 76 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by a son, numerous relatives, friends and admirers. For a long time he was suffering from various diseases including geriatric complications. Her notable publications are self-written poems, The Role of Women in the Garment Industry. Besides, she also taught at Shaheed Manik Girls High School at one time. He was buried at the family graveyard after Janaza at his village home in Manikganj after Johar on Tuesday.
