Annual railway sports competition begins in Ctg

The 43rd annual sports competition of Bangladesh Railway started in Chattogram on Wednesday.

Railway Minister Md. Zillul Hakim inaugurated the two-day long sports competition on the polo ground in the city.

At that time, Md Zillul Hakim said, ``Railway athletes once set a shining example of success in the national sports field. Let that rich past inspire a promising future.``

He also hoped that the annual sports competition will play a significant role in restoring the lost heritage of the railways in the sports arena.
