MP Habib gave tin to build house for the family affected by the fire in Bogra

Md. Helal Uddin Sarkar, Dhunat: Hon`ble MP of Sherpur Dhunat Alhaj Habibur Rahman gifted 3 bundles of tin from his personal fund to the family affected by the fire in Sattikari village of Gopalnagar union of Bogra Dhunat upazila.

Engineer Mohammad Asif Iqbal (Sony), son of an MP and vice-president of Dhunat Upazila Awami League, handed over the gift to the head of the affected family, Kamrul Islam, at around 5 pm on October 26. He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and pledged to be by their side in the face of human danger. Also present were Alim Al Razi Bullet Senior Vice President Dhunat Upazila Awami Juba League, Khairul Islam Jewel Joint General Secretary Dhunat Upazila Awami Juba League, Shah-Alam General Secretary Gopalnagar Union Awami League, Lecturer Shahidul Islam, Monir Joint Convener Dhunat Union Awami Juba League, Masud Rana General Secretary Gopalnagar Union Awami Sechchasebak League, Sheikh Saadi President Gopalnagar Union Chhatra League, also local leaders of Awami League and allied organizations were present.

It may be mentioned that a fire broke out in the house of Kamrul Islam, son of Jail Hesen of Sattikari village in Gopalnagar union of the upazila at around 10 pm on Saturday, October 24 due to an electrical short circuit. In the fire, 2 cows, 1 goat, a few ducks and chickens died. 1 tin house, 1 autovan, furniture and goods were also burnt in the fire. Kamrul Islam, the owner of the damaged house, said that at least 5 lakh rupees was lost due to this.
