Farooq Ahmed, Magura: The Muslim people of Magura have organized a human chain and demonstration procession in Magura to protest the display of cartoons of the Prophet (PBUH) in France.

In France, the government-sponsored magazine Shirley Abdo has published a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the messenger of world peace, causing bloodshed in the hearts of the Muslim Ummah. Such heinous injustice in the name of freedom of speech cannot be accepted in any way. The incident of insulting the Prophet has also defeated the barbarism.

On Tuesday (October 27) at 11 am in the Magura Press Club premises, the Touhidi people of Magura, organized under the banner of Magura Muslim public, staged a procession and protest rally in France against the state-sponsored display of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Speakers at the rally said that it was not new in France to show a satirical image of the Prophet (peace be upon him), even during the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II of the Ottoman Caliphate. The world macro government will be boycotted if such barbaric activities are not stopped. In this case, France must apologize to the Muslim Ummah and pledge not to do so in the future. Calling on the Bangladesh government to play its role as one of the world`s leading Muslim countries, the speakers said the government should condemn and protest against France for this incident. They also demanded a severance of all diplomatic relations with France and a boycott of all their products in the country. Muslims love their prophet more than their own lives. We will not be reluctant to give our lives to protect the dignity of the Prophet. France should be taught if the heroic nation of Muslims wakes up.

Criticizing the silence of the Arab world leaders in the worst case scenario in France, the speakers said that the so-called Muslim rulers of the Arab world are now playing the role of dumb devils. They are not friends of Islam and Muslims, they have become the slaves of Europe.

At the end of the rally, the agitated crowd marched around different streets of the city. At this time, the agitated people announced to boycott all the extremists who hated Islam.
