BCL holding rally at Shaheed Minar
  Date : 21-04-2024

Online Report : Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of ruling Awami League, started its per-anounced protest rally at 11:45am at the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital.

The Central Chhatra League organised the programme demanding introduction of student politics at BUET.

Sources at Chhatra League said that the loudspeakers were set facing the Buet campus so that the university students could hear the speech of BCL leaders.

BCL leaders and activists of Dhaka College, Eden College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Mohila College, Titumir College, Bangla College and some other nearest colleges also joined the rally.

Meanwhile, the protesting BUET students postponed their sit-in. But they would continue their class and exam boycott.
