SSC results: Jashore board sees highest pass rate

Jashore Education Board has witnessed the highest pass rate among nine general boards in this year`s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

According to the results published on Sunday, Jashore had a pass rate of 92.32 percent while Sylhet saw the lowest success rate of 73.35 percent.

Besides, the pass rate of Dhaka board is 83.92 percent, Rajshahi 89.3 percent, Barishal 89.13 percent, Chattogram 82.8 percent, Comilla 79.23 percent, Dinajpur 78.4 percent and Mymensingh 85 percent.

This year around 83.04 percent of students passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations.

Around 20,24,192 students under the 11 education boards -- nine general, one madrasa and one technical -- took part in the Secondary School Certificate and its equivalent examinations.
