NU announces closure of all affiliated institutions

The National University of Bangladesh (NU) on Tuesday announced the closure of all affiliated colleges and institutions until further notice.

This directive was announced in a press release signed by the National University Director of Public Relations, Md. Ataur Rahman, on Tuesday evening (July 16).

Earlier, the Ministry of Education had announced the closure of all schools, colleges, and polytechnic institutes in the country considering the safety of students amidst the ongoing quota reform movement.

Along with this, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee also announced the postponement of the HSC and equivalent exams scheduled for Thursday (July 18).
