If we work like AL, we have to face same fate: Fakhrul
  Date : 19-09-2024

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today (Sep 18) called upon his party men to avoid acts of repression saying, “If we work like Awami League, we have to face the same fate.”

He said this while addressing a rally at Eidgah ground under Haripur Upazila of Thaugaon this afternoon.

Mirza Fakhrul claimed that Sheikh Hasina killed at least 2,000 people during July-August students-mass people movement.

He said, “During Awami League era, people were jailed for doing BNP-Jamaat.”

He added: "Allah does not forgive people who cross the limit. He makes people rich or poor whatever He wants. Sheikh Hasina considered herself a queen, but she had to flee the country."
