Abdul Khaleque Khandker : US President Donald Trump arrived in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, May 13. His visit to the Middle East will be the first of his second term as the US President to visit Saudi Arabia. US President Donald Trump is visiting Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. He has also announced that he will visit Israel but cancelled. His visit carries special significance for a good many reason. It is being said that he is expecting a trillion dollars in business from Saudi Arabia. There are also rumors that Donald Trump can create history by declaring Palestine as an independent state.
Commenting on these events, Bangladeshi analyst and chief patron to the Asia Bani, Md. Tajul Islam, says that Trump has stopped the bloody conflict between Pakistan and India. Under Trump`s mediation, Ukrainian President Zelensky and Russian President Putin are holding talks. The talks are being held in Turkey on Thursday. It is known that President Donald Trump will also join the talks. Trump is already starting to spread good news of friendship by ending the tariff war with China. In response, China has also extended its hand of friendship by reducing tariffs. Analyst Tajul Islam said that if Trump can establish peace in the Middle East by declaring Palestine an independent state during his Middle East tour, then he can do a hat trick in establishing peace by ending the deadly wars in Pakistan-India; Russia-Ukraine and Gaza-Israel. And if he is able to do this, the entire world will be very grateful to Donald Trump. His name will be written in the pages of history and the Nobel Peace Prize will be awarded to Donald Trump. Already, everyone is saying that peace should be established by holding Trump`s hand in this turbulent world. This is Trump`s first visit to Saudi Arabia since taking office for a second term as president. Trump will then travel to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed Trump at the tarmac airport in Riyadh. Trump and Crown Prince Salman were seen walking together in a red-carpeted car in the presence of dignitaries and security officials. The two leaders were also seen talking to each other. Israel will not be stopped unless they allow civilians and civilians to live. And this is possible for Donald Trump. The Palestinian independence movement Hamas has released a prisoner from Israel. Despite the release of the prisoner in Gaza, airstrikes have continued in the enclave, killing at least 39 more Palestinians. It is reported that Israeli forces have continued their attacks in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 39 people in the attack on Monday. The Hamas group has also released a Palestinian-Israeli prisoner, Adan Alexander. At the United Nations, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for an end to the Israeli blockade of Gaza. The entire population of Gaza is at risk of starvation, according to the International Organization for Hunger Relief. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 52,862 Palestinians have been killed in the ongoing Israeli offensive. In addition, at least 119,648 people have been injured in the attack. The government`s media office said the death toll had risen to 61,700. Thousands of people are believed to be trapped under the rubble. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday that he would send mediators to Qatar to begin peace talks. Netanyahu`s office said that the possibility of escalating the war in Gaza would remain on hold until US President Donald Trump`s visit to the Middle East ends.
