Kamrul Hasan : The Manikganj District unit of the Jubo Dal, the youth wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has launched a campaign to promote the party’s 31-point state reform agenda, announced by BNP’s Acting Chairman Deshnayak Tarique Rahman.
On Friday evening (October 10, 2025), the district Jubo Dal’s convenor, Kazi Mostak Hossain Dipu, exchanged views with local residents at Meghshimool, Ward No. 5, Jagir Union under Manikganj Sadar upazila.
Speaking at the gathering, Dipu said,
> “The 31-point program proposed by Deshnayak Tarique Rahman is not merely a political manifesto — it is a roadmap for national reconstruction and the liberation of the people. The youth must take the lead in restoring democracy and returning power to the hands of the citizens.”
The event, attended by local leaders, activists, and villagers of Meghshimool, turned into a lively and participatory discussion. Speakers at the meeting stated that the primary aim of the 31-point agenda is to remove inefficiency and weaknesses from the current state structure and to establish a people-oriented and accountable governance system.
Leaders of the union and ward-level Jubo Dal expressed their belief that BNP’s reform program would open a new horizon in the country’s political and administrative landscape. They voiced optimism that through nationwide unity and public participation, democracy and the rule of law could soon be restored in Bangladesh.
Hundreds of Jubo Dal activists, local elites, and residents participated in the meeting. The event concluded with chants of party slogans echoing through the Meghshimool area, creating an atmosphere charged with enthusiasm and hope.
