  Date : 13-10-2025

(BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farzana today called upon project-related officials of the ministry to properly utilize the knowledge acquired from training programmes.

She made the call while addressing the inaugural session of a day-long training on project management, organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the Information Building in the capital this morning.

"Currently, 10 projects are being implemented under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The ministry is working sincerely to complete these projects within the stipulated time," she said.

Terming project management as a key foundation for the successful implementation of development activities, the secretary stressed that every stage - from planning to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation - requires specific guidance and efficient management.

She also emphasized enhancing the skills of project-related officials to maintain the right balance among project objectives, timelines, and costs.

Former Secretary Mosta Ghausul Haque conducted the session as the resource person in the day-long training.
Officials of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry and its affiliated departments and agencies were present at the event.
