Obaidul Quader’s brother among 9 arrested

Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) have arrested nine leaders and activists of the banned Awami League and its affiliated organizations, including Shahadat, the brother of Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.

The information was confirmed on Thursday (October 16) by Muhammad Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner of DMP’s Media and Public Relations Division.

He said that the arrests were made as part of ongoing operations targeting banned political activities.
