Tarique Rahman is the Right Leader for the Welfare of the Nation — S.A. Jinnah Kabir
  Date : 22-10-2025

Kamrul Hasan: S.A. Jinnah Kabir, Member of the BNP Central Executive Committee, former General Secretary of Manikganj District BNP, senior member of the district convening committee, and the BNP candidate for Manikganj-1 constituency under the Sheaf of Paddy symbol, said that Tarique Rahman is the only capable leader for the welfare of the nation — for safeguarding independence, the constitution, and democracy, as well as resolving the ongoing national crises.

He made this remark on Wednesday afternoon while addressing a campaign meeting after distributing leaflets and conducting mass communication as part of the publicity drive for the 31-Point State Reform Proposal announced by BNP’s Acting Chairman and National Leader Tarique Rahman. The event was organized by the Daulatpur Upazila’s Jionpur Union BNP and its affiliated organizations at the Jionpur New Market premises in Manikganj.

The event was presided over by Union BNP President Md. Faruk Hossain and conducted by General Secretary Tota Mia.
Among others present were: District Jubo Dal Convenor Kazi Mostak Hossain Dipu, District Krishak Dal Senior Vice-President Masudur Rahman Masud, former District BNP Agriculture Affairs Secretary Lokman Hossain, former District BNP Training Affairs Secretary Ferdous Hossain, Ghior Upazila BNP President Mir Manikuzzaman Manik, Joint Secretary Jane Alam, Upazila BNP President Sirajul Islam Siraj, General Secretary Anisur Rahman Anis, Senior Vice-President Abdul Matin Master, Joint Secretary Habibullah Nomani, Shibaloy Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Nasir Uddin, Joint Convenors of District Jubo Dal Asif Iqbal Rony and Abdul Momen, Jubo Dal leader Amir Hamza Pintu, Shibaloy Upazila Jubo Dal Convenor Md. Hossain Ali, District Swechchhasebok Dal Senior Joint Convenor Kazi Nadim Hossain Tuel, Shibaloy Upazila Jubo Dal Joint Convenors Jewel Rana and Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Abdus Salam, Joint Convenor Saiful Mia, Ghior Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Saif Sanowar, Joint Convenors Md. Mosharraf Hossain and Mir Faruk, Jubo Dal leader Md. Salem, Ghior Upazila Swechchhasebok Dal Convenor Md. Al-Amin, Member Secretary Sabuj Bepari, District Sramik Dal Organizing Secretary Mahidur Rahman Mahid, District Chhatra Dal Senior Joint General Secretary Zahidul Islam Jihad, District Chhatra Dal Organizing Secretary Sakib Khan Ayon, Devendra University College Chhatra Dal leader Anik Hossain, Manikganj Alia Madrasa Chhatra Dal President Sinbad Hossain, former Shibaloy Upazila Chhatra Dal Joint Convenor Azizul Hakim, Shibaloy Upazila Chhatra Dal leaders Jewel Rana, Ratan Mia, Jisanur Rahman Jisan, Dhamshar Union Chhatra Dal President Shakil Hossain and General Secretary Ashiqur Rahman Ashik — along with hundreds of leaders, activists, and local residents.

S.A. Jinnah Kabir said, “Under the visionary leadership of National Leader Tarique Rahman, the autocratic regime has collapsed in the face of a people’s movement led by the BNP, students, and the general public. Now we must work together to transform the outcome of that movement into sustainable national development. We must uphold the ideals of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and continue the path of progress.”

He further stated, “As part of fulfilling the people’s 17-year-long expectations, the interim government has decided to hold the national election in February 2026. However, a vested quarter is conspiring to sabotage the election in the name of a so-called ‘PR system’. For the sake of the nation’s welfare, this evil force must be unitedly resisted.”

Calling upon party leaders and workers to play an active role in ensuring the victory of the Sheaf of Paddy, he also encouraged women to take a leading role in the political arena alongside men.

S.A. Jinnah Kabir prayed for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and sought everyone’s prayers for the good health and long life of National Leader Tarique Rahman.
