In Ranishankail, Thakurgaon, an exchange meeting and check distribution program was held with the local administration and well-wishers on the program implemented to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on the poor and marginalized people. On Monday, UNO Sohail Sultan Zulkar Nain Kabir handed over a check for Tk. 10,000, 12 soaps and a box mask to 17 helpless distressed people for purchasing goats in the Upazila Parishad hall in collaboration with CDA. Shefali Begum, female vice chairman, Zahidur Rahman, regional manager of CDA, Faruk Ahmed Sarkar, president of Press Club, Habibur Rahman and others were present on the occasion under the chairmanship of Abu Taher, president of Upazila Landless Coordination Committee.
