Al Jazeera report: Sedition case filed against 4
  Date : 15-07-2025

Court Correspondent: A sedition case has been filed against four people over the Al Jazeera report titled “All the Prime Minister’s Men.”

The four accused are Swedish-Bangladeshi journalist Tasneem Khalil, Hungary-based entrepreneur Zulkarnain Saer Khan, British journalist David Bergman and Director General (editing council) of Al Jazeera Television Dr Mostefa Souag.

Moshiur Malek, founder and president of Bangabandhu Foundation, filed the case with the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate MD Ashek Imam on Wednesday morning.

In the complaint, Malek said by broadcasting this report, Al Jazeera has tarnished the image of Bangladesh government and the state at home and abroad, which is tantamount to sedition.
