Actor Rahul tests Covid-19 positive

News Desk : Popular actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee has tested positive for COVID-19.

He had mild fever and other symptoms. Rahul underwent necessary medical tests which confirmed, the actor has contracted the virus.

He is in stable condition and currently under home quarantine.

Messages for his speedy recovery have been pouring in. From his co-stars, industry peers to fans, all have wished Rahul for a speedy recovery.

Rahul is currently playing a prominent role in Leena Gangopadhyay’s ‘Desher Maati’.

Meanwhile, shooting in the entertainment industry is on halt owing to the strict guidelines amid the pandemic.

Prior Rahul, Bharat Kaul, Shruti Das from the same television project had tested positive for the virus. Both of them recovered and resumed shoot after testing negative.
