Online Report: The much-talked about transfer order of the doctors at government hospitals has been postponed due to "errors" in the order.

The Ministry of Health postponed the transfer order on Tuesday night. The transfer order was postponed till July 8 next. It was stated in a circular signed by deputy secretary of the health ministry Abu Raihan Mia.

Earlier, the Health Services Division transferred more than 1,000 doctors en mass to deal with the devastating coronavirus situation in the country.

In the meantime, some 1,000 doctors of the health cadre were transferred and promoted on July 5 (Monday). In the previous day of July 4 (Sunday) more than 100 doctors were transferred. They were asked to perform duties at COVID Units.
