BNP protests in front of London Parliament for better treatment of Khaleda Zia

Political Desk:: Hundreds of party (BNP) leaders and activists rallied in front of the London Parliament demanding the release and treatment of Khaleda Zia. The protest rally has been organized by the London Metropolitan BNP and its affiliates on November 23. BNP leaders and activists started gathering in front of the London Parliament from 2 pm. Later, a memorandum handed over to the British Prime Minister at 10 Downing Street.

UK branch BNP president MA Malek told the media, "BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has a constitutional right to medical treatment. Thousands of people are going abroad as the medical system of the country is not developed. But the government is not allowing Khaleda Zia to do that. The government must remember that power is not permanent. Patal Mia, a member of the London Metropolitan BNP and general secretary of Oxford Share Banbari told this reporter that the life of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia now in danger. She should be released unconditionally and given the opportunity to go abroad for better treatment. Otherwise a strong movement will be formed against the government.
