BARI scientist receives AFACI award

Staff correspondent: The Asian Food and Agriculture Cooperation Initiative (AFACI), Korea has awarded Senior Scientific Officer of the Postharvest Technology Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Dr. Mohammad Mainuddin Molla as `2020 Most Outstanding Principal Investigator` in the field of Agricultural Products Processing Technology.
The award is published in the website of AFACI, Rural Development Administration (RDA), Korea on 3 November 2021 but Officially BARI Scientist received it 25 November 2021. Dr. Choi Suntay, Secretary General AFCI signed in this award and declared by the Senior Deputy Secretary General of AFACI Dr. Park Jongyoon.

The research on `Development of Agricultural Products Processing` was conducted among the thirteen (13) AFACI member countries including Korea. The office of the AFACI Secretariat declared this award due to scientific efforts and remarkable performance for developing low cost and natural agricultural products. During the research, the scientist published two scientific papers in non-SCI Journal and one scientific paper in SCI Journal. In his research periods, He published 61 scientific papers in SCI and non-SCI in National and International Journal. He conducted 10 more National and International projects as Principal/Co-Principal Investigator/Project Director (PD).
