HILL OF STARS
  Date : 03-12-2021

Dr Jahangir Alam Rustom

Blinking stars, azure sky

And a moonlit night!

Chirping birds, dancing fairies

And wild animals fight.

Together, made alive

And animated the hill of stars;

What a lovely place it was!

Full of darlings and dears.

On a sudden move

I reached the hill of stars,

The fairies were saluting me

Without any fears.

The sea nymphs were feeding me wild food

And drinks, like coffee and tea,

And the wood nymphs were busy

To garland me.

Someone was carrying wine

And wild fruits from the trees,

I was lost time and again

To see the dances of fairies.

Sometimes with melodious songs

I felt enjoyment,

What a lucrative scene!

I enjoyed it in a moment.

Passing the whole night in an amusement

With the fairies’ dancing and singing.

I found myself on a broken branch

Of a beautiful tree in the morning.
