197 primary schools get laptops in Bhola

A total of 197 primary schools were provided laptops gifted from the Prime Minister at Lalmohan upazila in Bhola district on Sunday.

Lalmohan upazila primary education office organized a distribution programme at the upazila parishad auditorium in the morning in collaboration with Bangladesh Primary Teachers Association Lalmohan Upazila unit.

Bhola-3 seat MP Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shawon was present as the chief guest at the programme and distributed these laptops among the head teachers of the schools.

At that time, the chief guest said Bangladesh is now on the way to become smart from digital due to the visionary steps of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Smart citizens will lead the future smart Bangladesh by being skilled in technology.


`The role of teachers is important in forming smart citizens. So teachers should be more sincere and careful towards students`, the MP added.

Lalmohan upazila assistant commissioner (Land) Imran Mahmud Dalim presided over the programme where the upazila parishad chairman Principal Giasuddin Ahmed, vice-chairman Abul Hasan Rimon, upazila Awami League general secretary Fakhrul Alam Hawladar, primary education officer Md Aktaruzzaman Milan, municipal Awami League convener Shafiqul Islam Badal, Bangladesh Primary Teachers Association Lalmohan Upazila unit president Shawkat Ali Helal, general secretary Anwar Hossain were present, among others.
