Business Desk: In Bandar, Baluchar area of Narayanganj, Islami Bank Halima Omar Hospital PLC has established a foundation for healthcare facilities in its own premises. Yesterday, on October 17, Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidul Alam, Chairman of the Islami Bank Foundation, inaugurated the foundation of this hospital. The event was attended by special guests, including Vice Chairman of IBF, Professor Dr. Md. Saleh Jahur, Chairman of the IBF Hospital Committee, Md. Quamrul Hasan, and additional Director of Bangladesh Bank, Kamal Hossain. Also present were IBF`s General Managers, Md. Saleh Iqbal, and Engr. Abdus Samad. At this time, other officials from the Islami Bank Foundation were also present.

The Chairman of the Bank Foundation stated that this hospital is being built as a part of the commitment to stand by the side of the local helpless and medically underserved people.
