Medical admission test results published

The results of the MBBS first-year admission test for the academic year 2023-24 in public and private medical colleges of the country have been published.

The pass rate of the medical college entrance exam is 47.83 percent.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Professor Samanta Lal Sen announced the results today (February 11) at the ministry`s conference room in the capital.

As many as 49,923 of the 104,374 examinees passed the MCQ test to qualify for the MBBS course, Health Minister said.

A total of 5,380 candidates are preliminarily eligible for seats at 37 government-run medical colleges based on their test scores merit and preferences, he added.

The enrolment period for government medical colleges will run from February 18-24.

This year`s medical entrance exam took place at 44 venues in 19 centres countrywide on Friday (February 9).
