Bangladesh reports 20 Covid-19 positive cases

Bangladesh reported Covid-19-linked 20 cases in the last 24 hours till today (March 31) morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new numbers, the country`s total fatalities rose to 29,493 and caseload to 20,49,519, said the DGHS.

The DGHS disclosed the update on the country’s coronavirus situation, issuing a press release this afternoon.

A total of 376 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 5.32 percent.

According to the release, the total number of recoveries till today reached 4, 23,707.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
