Milton Samaddar`s wife at DB office

Online Report : Wife of the arrested `Child and Old Age Care` chairman Milton Samaddar went to the office of the Detective Branch (DB) on Sunday morning following a summon.

Earlier on Saturday, she has been summoned by the DB regarding the allegations raised against him.


Mithu Hawlader reached at the DB office at 11am on Sunday, Mirpur divisional deputy commissioner Manosh Kumar Poddar confirmed.

Earlier on Sturday, Dhaka Metropolitan Police`s (DMP) additional commissioner (DB) Mohammad Harun-ar-Rashid said Milton Samaddar is now on remand. He is being quizzed about all the allegations raised against him. Milton`s wife has also been summoned at the DB office on early Sunday (May 5) afternoon regarding the allegations raised against him. "We will also question his wife,"

"How Milton used to earn money using social media and who helped him, will also be identified and questioned," he added.

The DB arrested Milton Samaddar from Mirpur area at night on May 1. Then police filed three separate cases at Mirpur Model Police Station against him on charges of forgery through fraudulent way, human trafficking and attempt to murder.
