The results of the 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will likely be published on Thursday.

On the day, a special commission meeting will be held at the Public Service Commission (PSC) which will finally decide on publishing the results, a PSC member seeking anonymity told Jago News on Wednesday afternoon.

He said, "There is a special commission meeting tomorrow. The results may be published in the afternoon if the decision is finalized there."

The results will, however, be published on Sunday if it is not revealed tomorrow for any reason, he added.

The 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination was held on April 26.

On November 30 last year, the Public Service Commission (PSC) published the circular for the BCS.

As many as 3,140 cadres will be recruited through this BCS, said the circular.
