Life-term convict held in Dhaka

Members of Rapid action Battalion (RAB-10) arrested a fugitive life-term convict from Kamrangirchar in the capital.

The arrestee was identified as Md. Ripon Ali, 38, son of Kasam Ali of Kumarkhali Police Station area in Kushtia District, RAB-10 assistant police super and assistant director (media) M.J. Sohel told today (May 10).

He said, acting on a tip off, members of RAB conducted a drive at Kamrangirchar area and arrested him on Thursday (May 9).

Legal action has been taken against him, he said.
