JS body visits damaged metro rail station, Setu Bhaban

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry today visited metro rail station, Setu bhaban and BRTA bhaban which were damaged during the recent violence centering quota reform movement.

The committee chairman Rzwan Ahmed Toufiq, member Md Mujibul Haque, Abdullah-Al-Qaisar, visited vandalized metro rail station, Setu Bhaban and BRTA bhaban, an official release said.

Rezwan said a vested quarter attacked metro rail station, Setu bhaban and BRTA Bhaban in a planned manner to create sufferings of the people.

After assessment of damaged metro rail station, the committee will discuss about operation of metro rail, he added.
Senior officials of the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry and other relevant organizations, among others, were present during the visit. BSS
