Case filed against Ferdous over murder

A murder case has been filed against the former member of parliament of Dhaka-10 constituency and the popular actor Ferdous Ahmed. The case was filed at Adabar police station in the capital Dhaka on Thursday night.

Inspector (Investigation) Nazrul Islam of Adabar Police Station confirmed the case.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against 500 people in the same police station, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, in connection with the murder of Garment worker Rubel during the anti-discrimination student movement.

In the 12th National Parliament election, actor Ferdous was elected from Dhaka-10 constituency with Awami League`s boat symbol.
