Lutfey Siddiqui made CA’s envoy on international affairs

The interim government has appointed Lutfey Siddiqui as Chief Adviser’s (CA) envoy on international affairs.

The Cabinet Division has issued a gazette notification on Wednesday in this regard today (Sep 4).

He will enjoy the facilities equivalent to an adviser’s status.

Lutfey Siddiqi is an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore and a Visiting Professor-in-Practice at the London School of Economics.

With a background as the Global Head of Emerging Markets for Foreign Exchange, Rates & Credit at UBS Investment Bank and a Managing Director at Barclays Bank, he was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2012.

Lutfey serves on several advisory and governing boards and has a significant international media presence. He has been a commercially important person by the Government of Bangladesh since 2009.
