Chief Adviser visits Army Headquarters

Chief Adviser to the Interim Government Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus on Sunday (September 15) visited the Army Headquarters in the capital for the first time.


On his arrival, Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman welcomed the Chief Adviser, an ISPR press release said, reports BSS.

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain, Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Chief Adviser`s Special Assistant on Defense and National Solidarity Lt Gen (retd) Abdul Hafiz, Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain, Navy and Air Force chiefs, PSO AFD, senior military and civilian officers, inspector general of police and director generals of intelligence agencies, BGB, Coast Guard, Ansar and VDP, RAB and senior officials of Army Headquarters were present.

At that time, the Chief Adviser was briefed on important issues of national security. Important directives given by the Chief Adviser during his visit will be very helpful in playing an effective role in every aspect of formulation and implementation of the future action plan collectively, the release said.
