Diesel, kerosene prices lowered, effective midnight

The government has reduced the prices of diesel and kerosene by 50 paisa per litre, effective from midnight on Thursday.

The Energy and Mineral Resources Division issued a notification on Thursday announcing the price adjustment. Diesel and kerosene will now cost Tk 105 per litre, down from Tk 105.5 per litre.

The prices of octane and petrol remain unchanged at Tk 125 per litre for octane and Tk 121 per litre for petrol.

According to the notification, the adjustment reflects changes in global fuel prices, with monthly revisions implemented under the automatic pricing formula to align domestic fuel prices with the international market.
