  Date : 05-12-2025

Special Correspondent: High Commissioner His Excellency Imran Haider inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion, where Leathertech Bangladesh 2025 is hosting exhibitors from all over the world from 4-6 December 2025 at International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka.

Fifteen leading Pakistani firms, including Siddiq Leather Works, which confirmed its presence at stand C21–C22, are exhibiting products ranging from tanning chemicals to advanced leather-processing machinery. Senior representatives of leather industry associations from Pakistan, along with officials from Bangladesh, China and India, attended the event inauguration, underscoring the fair`s role as one of South Asia`s most influential platforms for leather, footwear machinery and materials. In his interactions with businessmen, he noted that there is significant untapped trade potential between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Strengthening business-to-business linkages is essential to fully harness this potential across all sectors, including leather. The visitors commended the quality and excellence of Pakistan’s leather goods.
